Some very exciting news came to fruition this morning after my interview at MHS yesterday... I've been hired as the new JV Boys Soccer Coach at Moscow High School!
I've always loved soccer, and I simply cannot wait to coach once again! As some of you may know, I grew up playing soccer at the age of 5 with Moscow Parks and Recreation, then later on with Moscow United Soccer Club and Moscow High School. I gained interest as a referee and coach throughout junior high, but it wasn't until high school that my interest became a reality. I used to coach the U12/U13 boys at Moscow United while at the University of Idaho and during my senior year of high school, and it's been great to see some of these players as juniors in high school now. I had a lot of fun as a coach, and I'm very eager to get back on the pitch.
I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me get to this point. Coaches Jared Vreeland, Jason Quintero, Rich Gayler, Mark Quinn, Abilio Monteiro, "Bill and Joe", my awesome boss Debbie Spurgeon, and last but not least, my always supportive and loving family. There are so many good friends that I have to thank, but I just can't fit you all into this post!
Enjoy the 4th of July, friends! I'll see you out on the soccer fields!
